We believe that informed decisions are the best decisions and want our landowners and communities to feel that they have all the necessary information on wind energy and wind farms to enable them to be our partners in development. Another notable characterisitic of how Zephyr conducts business is that we pride ourselves on hiring local employees and building a 'main street' presence in project areas. What this means for landowners is that their needs and concerns are directly communicated to people working on project development who are from the region and can quickly understand and respond to issues, rather than being lost in the shuffle and overlooked by distant corporations who lack local interest and only occasioinally are available to meet with landowners. In addition to a more accessible partner, for the host community this means additional local revenues and financial support, which are increasingly important in today's economy. |
